Before I write a huge blog post and playlist of all the bands/artists you should be looking out for in 2015, here’s the three tips I’ve been giving to year end blog/radio polls:

Deep and soulful vocals from the Blackpool-born youngster. Her debut album comes with production from Ariel Rechtschaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend, Mikky Ekko) and shows all the maturity of an artist signed to Atlantic Records aged 17 and given time to work out her sound.

Further listening: Guest vocals on Bombay Bicycle Club РLuna & this incredible remix of Cold.

Contagious rhythms from a Liverpool-based trio. Unafraid of adding momentum to their music through lashings of “oooh”s, plenty of bass guitar licks, and non-formualic drum patterns. All We Are are Richard, Guro, and Luis, and their debut album is up for release February 2nd.

Shura’s voice has already been added to some of the standout “beauty in minimalism” productions of our time, which makes the catalogue of her own music, released earlier this year, even more exciting. Indecision is the best pop song from an emerging artist that’s been heard in a while, whereas Touch displays almost effortless¬†honesty and tenderness.
